Behavioural Support Specialist Role

We are seeking a Behavioural Support Specialist to deliver high-quality, client-centred care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adolescents and adults with various diagnoses and presentations.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Behavioural Support Specialist to join our dedicated team. You will work collaboratively with our allied health professionals to develop and implement evidence-based positive behaviour support plans and interventions.

  • Assessing and developing individualised behaviour support plans that cater to diverse needs and abilities.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments for participants of all ages and disabilities.
  • Developing and delivering tailored interventions and strategies for managing behaviours of concern.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate reports and tracking progress within NDIS plans.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in a related field.
  • Assessment by the NDIS as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Core or above level.
  • A valid Australian driver's licence and unrestricted work rights.
