About Our Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Team Leader Positive Behaviour Support. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for delivering high-quality support services to individuals with complex needs.

Our ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications in an allied health background, such as Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology. They will also have over 2 years of experience in delivering Positive Behaviour Support or working with individuals with disability/mental illness.

The successful applicant will demonstrate experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours. They will also hold current working with children's cards, NDIS clearance and a valid driving license.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Completing indirect and direct assessments, including observations and data collection, to inform the development of behaviour support plans and functional behavioural assessments.
  • Supporting NDIS participants with disability, their carers, family and significant others, providing training and support in interventions and strategies outlined in behaviour support plans.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for participants.
  • Providing guidance and supervision to other practitioners/provisional psychologists.

  • Reliably commute or relocate to Perth WA before starting work.
