The People and Culture Business Partner (PCBP) is a strategic role that plays a pivotal part in our organisation's continued growth and success. Reporting to the People Relations Manager, you will leverage your expertise to drive effective workforce management across the business.
This role requires a deep understanding of employment legislation and industrial relations, with a proven track record of delivering best practice people management solutions. You will be an influential thought leader, building relationships with key stakeholders and providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Employee Relations activities, including ER advice, Award & Legislation interpretation, workplace investigations, performance and conduct issues, and employee life cycle navigation for managers and employees
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders, empowering them to achieve exceptional people management practices and engaged teams
- Contribute to the development of innovative P&C best practice solutions, systems, and processes, driving continuous improvement and collective success
- Cultivate maturity in our P&C activities, risk assessment, IR framework, and business partnering model
- Collaborate with a dynamic team on diverse projects, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
To succeed in this role, you will possess a minimum 5 years' experience in a People & Culture Advisor or People & Culture Business Partner position, with tertiary studies in Human Resources/Industrial Relations/Psychology or a related discipline.
You will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in report writing. Your ability to dissect complex matters and provide sound advice will be invaluable in this role.
A natural team player, you will thrive in a connected and collaborative environment. Strong computer literacy skills and comfort with learning new systems are essential, as well as education in Workplace Investigations or Training & Assessment, if applicable.
