Job Title: Community Service Coordinator
Job Summary:
We seek a skilled professional to join our team as a Community Service Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and supervising support staff;
- Providing regular support to individuals, carers, and families via telephone and face-to-face visits;
- Coaching and supporting carers in preparing individuals for independent or semi-independent living;
- Building capacity and coaching individuals through steps and strategies to achieve their set goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in working within a NDIS context, including goal-orientated outcomes and reporting requirements;
- Supervising direct care workers;
- Excellent administrative skills, being highly organized and client-focused;
- A qualification in Disability or a similar sector (e.g., Aged Care or Community);
- A current NDIS worker Screening and Working with Children Card.
