The Role

We're seeking an experienced Ecommerce Growth Strategist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Customer Growth sales team, you'll be responsible for selling our SMS product to existing APAC clients.

You'll work closely with the Customer Success, SMS Ops, and Deliverability & Compliance teams to ensure customer success. This role requires a strong entrepreneurial spirit, customer obsession, and the ability to work autonomously with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to target assigned customer segments/territories and create new SMS opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Partner Managers and Agency Partners to identify Channel sales opportunities and educate them on how to effectively sell SMS to their clients.
  • Self-prospect and advise existing Klaviyo customers on the value of SMS and why Klaviyo SMS is the best choice for their business.
  • Participate in regular workshops, lunch and learns, and in-market networking events to educate partners and customers on leveraging SMS for revenue growth.
  • Provide feedback to our Product Team impacting the product roadmap and what we build for customers.
  • Have a significant impact on revenue targets for 2023 and beyond.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience carrying a revenue quota as an Account Executive/Account Manager/Account Director/Customer Success Manager (commercially orientated).
  • Experience working in high-velocity and high-volume sales environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Enjoy being in an expansion/growth-focused role selling to existing/warm accounts.
  • Strong growth mindset, continually seeking improvement, and rigorous in pursuit.
  • Encouraging, thoughtful, engaging, and energetic team player.
  • Highly adept at influencing and relationship building.
  • Fluent English (written & verbal). Additional business-fluent Japanese/Chinese is a plus.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia without restrictions.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this role is $145,000 AUD. Klaviyo offers competitive benefits and perquisites, including private health cover, financial and professional coaching, and unlimited holiday time. This role is also eligible for variable compensation based on performance.
