About the Role

The Product Growth Strategist will be a vital member of the Category team within the SGS Commercial function at Beam Suntory. This role focuses on driving category growth with key retail partners, leveraging deep category insights and fostering strong retailer relationships. The Product Growth Strategist will develop a deep understanding of the category to foster world-class relationships and lead category growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of a 12-month category plan, aligned with retailer objectives and insights.
  • Establish Beam Suntory as a category thought leader by forging strong retailer partnerships.
  • Presentation of innovation plans that align with retailer category vision.
  • Contribution to achieving Joint Business Plan by executing the category plan with cross-functional teams.
  • Development of perfect store guidelines to support category growth objectives.
  • Serving as the category expert, tailoring strategies to retailer needs and leading retailer category reviews.
  • Fostering a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and contributing to an engaged workplace.
  • Adherence to and promotion of Beam Suntory policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in marketing, customer, or category management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, or Marketing preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills (Circana/Quantium).
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Space Management experience is desirable.
  • Confidence presenting to customers and internal stakeholders.

What You'll Get

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
