Job PurposeThe Large Loss Claims Consultant is responsible for handling and resolving large and complex Property, Liability, and Motor claims. This role requires strong analytical and negotiation skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Manage large and complex claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
- Authorise payments within delegated authority and make recommendations to management as needed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Members, assessors, lawyers, and other external parties
- Prepare and present reports to management and other stakeholders
- At least 5 years' experience in managing large and complex property and liability claims
- Experience handling dispute resolution files and instructing external parties
- Advanced skills in MS Office, including Outlook
- Diploma in Financial Services (desirable)
