About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at Barminco. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for facilitating and assisting with collating and reporting safety performance data, and incident investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Previous experience working as a Health and Safety Coordinator
- Substantial understanding and working knowledge of Australian OHS legislation and industry standards
- Facilitate and assist with collating and reporting safety performance data, and incident investigations
- Strong understanding and capability in hazard identification, risk assessments and controls
- Underground mining experience, and auditing qualifications (desirable)
- Training and Assessing and ICAM Incident Investigation (highly regarded)
- Tertiary health and safety qualifications or a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
