Account Executive, SMB Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Account Executive, SMB to join our Sales team at Procore Technologies. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in sales methodology, processes, prospecting techniques, and customer base to drive new business growth with small and medium-sized businesses in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Qualify and follow up with new prospects generated by marketing campaigns or customer requests
  • Manage and maintain accurate prospect, opportunity, and account information within Salesforce.com
  • Develop and execute prospecting plans to establish rapport, build relationships, and create new opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers and third-party partners to propose tailored solutions that meet the needs of prospective customers
  • Network and research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and obtain business requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts and provide regular reports on sales activities and projects as requested
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of successful software sales experience, preferably B2B
  • Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology is desired
  • Proven record of success in inside sales and/or outside sales-based selling models
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone and email with customers
  • Resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment and ability to develop strong relationships
  • Proficiency with Google Suite products and online collaboration tools
  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, specifically Salesforce.com
  • Proven ability to develop and manage pipeline and forecasting
