Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Child Care Educator (Cert III) to join our team at KU Riddle Road Kindergarten. As a permanent opportunity, this role offers a stable and rewarding career path with opportunities for growth and professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality education and care to children in our 3-year-old group, emphasizing building relationships and creating an inclusive environment.
- Work collaboratively with our existing passionate team to deliver exceptional outcomes for children.
- Contribute to maintaining our child-safe culture and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children in our service and programs.
- An ACCEQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood
- Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Current Working with Children Check
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
- A competitive salary estimated to be around $60,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications
- Uniform and first aid allowance paid
- 19 hours per week with unpaid breaks
- Fridays off with 4 hours of non-contact time per week
