Role OverviewWe are seeking committed individuals to join our team as Early Childhood Educators at our Knox region service. As an educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care for children aged 3-4 years, fostering an inclusive environment where children belong, play, discover, and learn.
Job DescriptionAs an Early Childhood Educator with KU Children's Services, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing daily programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children;
- Establishing strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a harmonious and supportive learning environment;
- Contributing to the development of a stimulating and engaging curriculum that promotes children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth;
- Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and communicating effectively with parents and carers;
- Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- An ACCEQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood;
- Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates;
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children;
- A current Working with Children Check;
- A sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including:
