Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator and Centre Director to join our team at Goodstart Wantirna South - Cathies Lane.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead our centre and be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering high-quality early learning programs. As an Early Childhood Educator and Centre Director, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our educators, ensuring that we deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the centre's educational program, ensuring it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards;
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to our educators to support their professional development and improve teaching practices;
  • Collaborate with the centre's management team to achieve operational goals and objectives;
  • Maintain open communication with parents and families to ensure they are informed and engaged in their child's learning journey;
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification;
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards;
  • Current Victorian Working with Children Check;
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on improving outcomes for children;
