About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Service Coordinator to join our team at West Wimmera Health Service in a part-time or casual capacity.

The successful applicant will work alongside our professional catering team to prepare quality meals for patients, residents, staff, and other functions. Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe environment, ensuring supplies and equipment are properly maintained, and adhering to Department of Human Services Standards and Infection Control Guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess effective communication and organizational skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate basic computer literacy using software packages like Microsoft Office.

A Victorian Driver's Licence is also required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout acute facilities, residential aged care areas, and external properties.
  • Prepare and serve quality meals, ensuring compliance with Food Safety Guidelines and Infection Prevention protocols.
  • Assist with daily cleaning tasks, including waste management and disposal.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, residents, and staff.
