Fixed Income Corporate Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fixed Income Corporate Sales professional to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our Global Markets division, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients in Australia, providing them with innovative risk management solutions and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Originate and develop business opportunities with existing and new clients, providing advisory on risk management and building deal pipelines in collaboration with the Global Markets teams.
- Grow the FIC Corporate flow business with Australian Corporates and develop business opportunities (both public and private deals).
- Provide strong pricing and execution abilities in FX and Interest rates derivatives, as well as structured investment solutions.
- Prepare pitchbooks, market comments, term sheets, and other marketing materials.
- Drive sales initiatives and maintain awareness of SG's FX & Rates strengths and offerings.
- Work in close partnership with the broader FIC desk in Sydney in building out the franchise.
- Maintain strong connectivity with the market, understanding the needs of the different corporate clients and industry groups, leveraging market intelligence to provide feedback internally (sales, engineering, structuring, trading) to improve capabilities of the platform.
- Bachelor's or master's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering.
- At least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets.
- Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with Australian Corporate clients. Strong understanding of the corporate business and the key decision drivers. Ability to extract value from these relationships in terms of deals and market share.
- Strong technical knowledge on Fixed Income and Currencies products, particularly IRS/XCCY/FX/ FXO/ Structured Investment solutions, for both flow business and private deal executions (Bond issuance related).
- Good knowledge of the usage of dealing platforms for credit FX and FI.
- Strong ability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships, with demonstrable communication skills.
- Commercial acumen, strong corporate knowledge, and persistence in addressing clients' needs.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a team environment and with teams based in different geographical locations.
- Proven ability to work in an evolving multicultural environment with people with diverse, international backgrounds.
