Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Corporate Sales professional to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our Global Markets division, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients in Australia, providing them with innovative risk management solutions in FX and Interest Rates.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Originating and developing business opportunities with existing and new clients, providing advisory services on risk management and deal pipelines in collaboration with our Global Markets teams.
  • Building strong relationships with Australian corporate clients, leveraging market intelligence to provide feedback and drive sales initiatives.
  • Preparing pitchbooks, market comments, term sheets, and other marketing materials to support sales efforts.
  • Working closely with our FIC desk in Sydney to build out the franchise and drive business growth.
  • Maintaining strong connectivity with the market, understanding client needs, and leveraging market intelligence to provide feedback internally.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • At least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets.
  • Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with corporate clients and a strong technical knowledge of Fixed Income and Currencies products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong ability to work in a team environment and with teams based in different geographical locations.
