Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Sales Specialist to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our Global Markets division, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients in Australia, providing them with innovative risk management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow the FIC Corporate flow business with Australian Corporates and develop business opportunities
  • Originate business opportunities with existing and new clients, providing advisory on risk management and building deal pipelines
  • Develop strong pricing and execution abilities in FX and Interest rates derivatives, as well as structured investment solutions
  • Prepare pitchbooks, market comments, term sheets, and other marketing materials
  • Drive sales initiatives and maintain awareness of SG's FX & Rates strengths and offerings
  • Work in close partnership with the broader FIC desk in Sydney to build out the franchise
  • Maintain strong connectivity with the market, understanding the needs of corporate clients and industry groups, and leveraging market intelligence to provide feedback internally
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or Engineering
  • At least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets
  • Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with Australian Corporate clients, with a strong understanding of the corporate business and key decision drivers
  • Strong technical knowledge of Fixed Income and Currencies products, particularly IRS/XCCY/FX/FXO/Structured Investment solutions
  • Good knowledge of dealing platforms for credit FX and FI
  • Strong ability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
