Internal Communications Specialist

As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will own our internal comms heartbeat — shaping strategy, building smart frameworks, and delivering messages that connect, inspire, and engage our global team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and execute internal communications strategy to keep the team informed, aligned, and engaged.
  • Create and maintain internal communications framework.
  • Partner with senior leaders to finalise Internal Communication & Engagement Framework.
  • Own strategic planning and execution of all internal comms and touchpoints.
  • Develop a global comms and engagement calendar (categories, ownership, cadence, channels).
  • Write comms from both company and leadership perspectives.
  • Lead content refresh to improve messaging, visuals, and quality, including regular team newsletters.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and comms processes.
  • Ensure brand and company strategy are embedded in all comms.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, and Comms teams on deliverables.
  • Recommend and implement tools, resources, and processes to improve internal comms.
  • Focus on enhancing connection, visibility, alignment, and engagement globally.

Qualifications and experience include:

  • 7+ years of experience in communications (internal or external).
  • Proven ability to be a communications specialist.
  • Demonstrated effective writing and communications skills.
  • Experience creating, executing and managing an internal communications program.
  • Experience in both the strategic and tactical elements of internal comms to own end-to-end internal comms, including creating a narrative tied to company and/or brand strategy.
