Internal Communications Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Strategist to join our team.

As an Internal Communications Strategist, you will play a vital role in shaping the organisation's external image and fostering meaningful connections with stakeholders.

The Marketing and Communications team is responsible for promoting the organisation's vision, mission, and values through various channels. As an Internal Communications Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing internal communications strategies that enhance employee engagement, foster a positive organisational culture, and ensure seamless dissemination of information across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing internal communications strategies
  • Improving staff engagement
  • Communication planning for organisational strategic and business plans
  • Supporting business units with corporate communication needs
  • Relationship and stakeholder engagement
  • External newsletter
  • Crisis management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
  • +8 years' experience in a Communications or similar role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of communication plans
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and social media platforms
  • Crisis communication experience is a plus
