Job Description

Boral Limited, a leading construction materials company, is seeking a skilled Driver Trainer/Assessor to join our Cement Supply Chain and Logistics department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Powder Tanker drivers, focusing on theoretical and applied driving and operational skills.
  • Collaborate with drivers, operational staff, and management to identify training needs and develop a skilled and competent workforce.
  • Conduct certificate-level on-the-job technical and knowledge-based training and assessment, adhering to Boral's RTO and regulatory requirements.
  • Record training events and upload evidence to Boral's Learning Management System.
  • Facilitate and support line managers with training needs and the development of their people.
  • Complete administration functions for employees commencing certificate-level training programs.
  • Review and provide ongoing monitoring and feedback to learners.
  • Assist in the development, review, and updating of training materials, SOPs, and SWMS.
Requirements
  • Cert IV Trainer and Assessor qualification (or completion of the qualification as soon as possible).
  • Valid driver's license (HC minimum).
  • 3 years of relevant industry experience in heavy vehicle training and assessing (ideally).
  • Experience in operating a variety of heavy vehicles.
  • In-depth knowledge of Road Rules, heavy vehicle national law requirements for drivers, and Chain of Responsibility.
