About the Role

Are you dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of young children? We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Childcare Educator to contribute to our vibrant environment.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in designing and executing interactive, play-centered educational experiences for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Your focus will be on creating a secure, encouraging, and enriching atmosphere that fosters the holistic development of each child.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the preparation and execution of age-appropriate activities, encompassing arts, music, physical movement, and outdoor exploration.
  2. Promote a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that values teamwork and diversity.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the growth and development of each child, maintaining open communication with parents and colleagues regarding individual progress and needs.
  4. Ensure the classroom is tidy and well-organized, including the management of educational materials and resources.
  5. Prioritize the safety and well-being of all children, adhering to established policies and procedures at all times.

Our center has the capacity to accommodate up to 100 children, operating from early morning until evening. We are committed to providing high-quality childcare and early education services for families in the local community.

Qualifications
  1. Possess a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children's Services.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  3. Have relevant experience in an early childhood setting, working with children aged 0-5 years.
  4. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Hold a current Working with Children Check.
  6. Possess a First Aid certificate.
  7. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  8. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
