About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Childcare Educator to join our team at G8 Education Ltd. As a Childcare Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and growth of young children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Deliver Engaging Learning Activities: Develop and implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged 6 months to 5 years.
  • Foster a Positive Classroom Culture: Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and diversity.
  • Observe and Assess Child Development: Monitor and assess the development and progress of each child, and communicate with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organised Environment: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the learning space, including the management of materials and supplies.
  • Ensure Child Safety and Wellbeing: Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times, adhering to all policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a minimum ACECQA-approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children's Services.
  • Experience: Proven sector experience within an Early Childhood service, working with children aged 0-5 years.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with a team, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Certifications: Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate.
