About the Role

C&K Childcare & Kindergarten is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at our Kedron center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in inspiring and nurturing young minds, guiding their learning and development in a fun and creative play-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver high-quality programs that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform future planning.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a child-safe and inclusive environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognized by ACECQA).
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework, and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (issued within the last three months) or willingness to obtain these.
