We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across Western Australia and the Eastern Australian states.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively prospect new sales leads through various channels, including networking, cold-calling, and digital marketing;
- Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions that align with our offerings;
- Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring all contractual and commercial terms are met;
- Maintain an extensive pipeline of opportunities and provide regular updates to the leadership team;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support;
- Built strong relationships with companies across all sectors in WA and Eastern Australian states to secure new and ongoing sales;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business prospects.
- Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role, preferably within the mining / oil & gas resources, health, finance or education industry;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer needs and craft tailored solutions;
- Strong negotiation and closing capabilities to secure new business deals;
- Be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic, determination, and a passion for exceeding sales targets;
- Familiarity with digital marketing and lead generation techniques; and
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
