We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Brisbane North.

SalaryThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, commencing at $34.46 per hour, with additional pay for penalties and loadings. They will also be eligible for 12% superannuation and can increase their take-home pay through salary packaging up to $18,550 per annum.
Job Description- This role involves providing 24-hour care to individuals with disabilities, including personal activities such as hygiene support, medication assistance, and domestic assistance.
- The successful candidate will follow specific positive behaviour support plans and assist participants in engaging in community, social, and recreational activities.
- They will work in both group settings and one-on-one arrangements, using company vehicles or their own to transport participants to outings.
- A completed or current Certificate III or higher qualification in a relevant industry field.
- Paid experience supporting people with disabilities, preferably in a similar setting.
- An Australian Driver's License and Queensland Motor Vehicle Registration.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment.
- A National Police Check obtained within the last six months or willingness to apply.
- Paid training before commencing and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Weekday, weekend shift loadings and overtime penalties as per the Enterprise Agreement.
- A permanent role with consistent hours and routine rosters, along with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts.
- A company tablet for completing notes, accessing client care plans, and signing in and out of shifts.
- An Employee Assistance program to support the employee throughout their employment.
