Job Description

This is a fulfilling opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to people of all ages with disabilities or illnesses. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting clients with personal grooming and hygiene needs
  • Providing domestic support, including meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Offering companionship and social interaction, which may include outings and activities
  • Helping clients maintain independence through hobbies and skills development
  • Providing overnight care as required
  • Transporting clients to appointments and social events

Your expertise will also involve developing personalized programs to stimulate clients' intellectual and emotional growth, as well as administering medication where necessary.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a First Aid certificate and have undergone police screening and national checks. Holding a Certificate III in Individual Support or relevant VET qualifications is highly desirable.
