This role involves providing daily support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and self-sufficiency. You will assist clients with various tasks, including manual handling and operating hoisting equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  • Provide manual handling support, ensuring safe transfers, lifting, and positioning.
  • Operate and maintain hoisting equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Essential experience in manual handling and hoisting is required.
  • A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient approach are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work 3-4 hours per shift, with potential for additional hours as needed.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
