ONCALL Group Australia is a leading provider of Disability and Community Support Services.


We are seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide support to clients with Frontal Lobe Dementia, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), and Dysphagia.


This role requires an empathetic approach, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to communicate very clearly.


You will be supported by an experienced team leader and have access to additional training to manage the complexities of this role.


Key Responsibilities



  • Empower clients to achieve their goals and support them with individual care needs in areas such as wellbeing, housekeeping, personal care, meal preparation, daily activities, and community participation.
  • Experience in managing behaviors and developing person-centered positive relationships will be key.
  • Support clients with Frontal Lobe Dementia, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), and Dysphagia.

Requirements



  • 6 months of local work experience in the Disability Sector.
  • MAYBO training highly regarded.
  • Experience and comfort assisting with all Personal Care requirements is essential.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and current Blue Card.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
