We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Hospitality Team Member to join our flight catering team in Darwin. As part of this role, you will be responsible for making up food and beverage carts, plating food onto catering trays, and working on a wash belt.

This position offers a mix of rostered day and afternoon shifts, Monday to Sunday, 365 days a year. Immediate start available.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in preparing all elements required to deliver a memorable dining experience for passengers onboard our airline customers' flights. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and presenting meals to the highest standard, using visual guides to ensure presentation specifications are met.
  • Stocking airline carts with dry store items, including equipment, packaged snacks, and beverages.
  • Loading and unloading wash lines, ensuring that all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are in perfect condition.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and HACCP guidelines, and adhering to hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
  • Communicating and coordinating with team members to ensure delivery timelines are met.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Sound numerical skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as move and lift items.
  • The ability to work shift work across a 7-day roster.
  • A neat and tidy appearance.
  • Sound knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP (desired but not essential).
  • Basic knife skills (desired but not essential).
  • A clear National Police Check (required).

We offer a competitive salary range of AUD $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
