Compliance Risk Leader for ANZ Payments

The Head of Compliance is a senior role within the Second Line of Worldline, focusing on the Australian market. As part of our APAC expansion strategy, this position will play a crucial role in ensuring that all Australian entities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as adhere to Worldline standards, policies, and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Australia Compliance function and collaborate with the broader Worldline Group Compliance functions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry standards, and ensure the organization is prepared to meet new compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and develop strategies to address and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide guidance on compliance-related matters and support business initiatives while ensuring compliance requirements are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries and audits and work to maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on compliance performance, areas of improvement, and emerging risks.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 10+ years of experience in a senior Compliance role.
- 5+ years of proven experience in an AFSL-licensed organization.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proven AML/CTF experience.
- Experience leading or being a key contributor in an AFSL application.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent commercial awareness and industry knowledge.
- Results-driven and able to work under pressure.
