About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our Merchant Risk Operations team in Melbourne, Australia. This is a key managerial role responsible for ensuring the effective management of customer risk within ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a large team of Risk Analysts and Specialists, including day-to-day people management responsibilities, work allocation and prioritisation, and team mentoring.
  • Implement and maintain AML/CTF programs and procedures, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Applicable Customer Identification Procedures (ACIP).
  • Develop and maintain CDD systems, processes, and procedural documentation.
  • Review and optimise CDD systems, processes, and procedures regularly.
  • Provide management-level reporting and KPI tracking for key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with AUSTRAC regulations and manage reporting obligations.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Second Line functions to ensure effective onboarding and risk management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in senior customer due diligence roles (KYC, AML, CTF, etc.)
  • 3+ years of proven leadership and team management skills
  • Experience working with AUSTRAC as a Reporting Entity under the AML/CTF Act
  • Advanced knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements relating to AML/CTF
  • Results-driven individual with excellent communication and influencing skills
