Role Summary

This role is a key member of the Strategic Initiatives & Change team, supporting the GM, Wholesale Risk Australia (WRA) in establishing and executing on strategy. Identifying and prioritising initiatives aimed at uplifting the business and people capability, streamlining credit processes, and delivering on the function's change agenda, in alignment with Group Risk and Commercial Strategic Priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Manager, Strategic Initiatives Lead in credit risk transformation activities (process and policy) relation to the WRA function.
  • Assessing current and proposed processes, policies, and procedures to identify any gaps in compliance with APRA standards and BCOP.
  • Prioritising and leading delivery of key process changes for WRA processes to ensure compliance.
  • Working with key stakeholders across the division to understand impacts and leverage solutions within decision technology to deliver better banker and customer experience.
  • Uplifting/adapting WRA resource and infrastructure capabilities to deliver on future state vision, in line with the recent WRA Capability Assessment & compliance obligations.
