About Our Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Risk Assurance Professional to join our Divisional Assurance - Institutional team. As a key member of this team, you will play a leading role in providing 1st line technology assurance to the Payments Technology domain, with a focus on our customer-facing digital platforms used by our Institutional customers.

As a Digital Risk Assurance Professional, you will support the Assurance Manager (Payments) in ensuring the Institutional Domain and the Payments Technology Domain achieve their objectives by providing guidance to technology teams and oversight for overall health of Domain risk operations. You will work closely with 1st line and 2nd line business and technology risk teams across the bank to provide clarity and guidance on topics such as technology controls testing outcomes, key risk indicator analysis, and remediation plans, emerging risks, etc. to reduce the bank's overall risk profile and support the Payments Technology Domain and related business divisions in understanding their risk profile and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for operationalising and embedding ANZ's Risk Management Framework within the Payments Technology Domain.
  • You will generate risk insights and drive actions via risk reporting and facilitating risk forums/workshops for the Payments Technology Domain.
  • You will provide assurance of quality and adequacy of technology risks, key risk indicator analysis, and remediation plans, key technology controls testing outcome analysis, treatments, events, audit items, operational risk assessments, etc., as required.
  • You will lead technology risk and control reviews to ensure the robustness of controls and mitigate any potential risk.
  • You will uplift risk awareness, culture, and risk-based decision making within the organization through training workshops, targeted risk engagement, and routine communications.
  • You will improve governance and reporting of risks, issues, and actions via proactive engagement with payments technology and business stakeholders.
  • You will drive continuous improvement of risk and control practices.
  • You will provide risk and security consulting advice on risk and security-related matters and serve as the key contact for stakeholders seeking support from 1st line technology assurance.
Your Skills and Experience
  • You should have demonstrated knowledge of 1st line technology risk and information security processes, concepts, and industry standards.
  • You should possess a sound understanding of control effectiveness assessment/testing, mitigation techniques, and risk reporting requirements.
  • You should be able to analyse data to determine the root cause of control deficiencies to enable meaningful discussions with business stakeholders around potential business impacts and identify process improvements.
  • You should be able to build collaborative working relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • You should have a growth mindset, ready to proactively engage and influence stakeholders and team members.
  • You should be able to synthesise information from multiple sources to produce meaningful reporting, insights, and action plans.
  • You should be able to effectively communicate ideas in a consumable format with supporting action plans.
  • You should be proficient in planning and prioritising tasks to deliver user needs and strategic priorities.
