Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Director Work Health Safety to provide strategic leadership and direction across our Work Health Safety service delivery areas. This role will oversee the implementation of systems and processes that ensure our organization continues to be a safe and accountable healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing work health safety strategies, management systems and frameworks. They will also have experience in advising on and overseeing the implementation of WHS laws, regulations and standards.

  • This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and direct teams towards achieving organizational goals.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including employees, managers and external partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably in a work health safety capacity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing work health safety strategies and management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
