Job Title: Operational Leadership Position
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership position within our operations team. As an Assistant Director, you will be responsible for leading a diverse workforce to achieve key corporate and business objectives.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring delivery of all priorities within your work area, influencing the design and development of tailored strategies that deliver contemporary client experiences and outstanding results for business.
You will inspire a future-focused mindset and a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your relationship and negotiation skills will ensure that strategic partnerships and effective planning for new initiatives are implemented.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff to achieve desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead dynamic teams which could be in a rostered or scheduled client contact centre environment
- Encourage staff engagement, guide capability growth and support positive change management while driving operational excellence
- Provide technical guidance or advice to clients and staff to assist in resolving complex or sensitive issues
- Deliver contract management activities including outsource contracts for labour, print and postal services
- Lead, coordinate and monitor a variety of work/case management activities, provide advice and recommendations to solve complex workforce and workload issues
- Work with a range of business partners to ensure business requirements are understood to facilitate the delivery of quality services to the community
- Translate complex insights or technical requirements into actions to resolve a range of procedural or technical issues
The role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in various locations. A merit pool may be formed and used to fill future similar vacancies in these locations and other locations within the same metropolitan area.
