**Key Responsibilities**: The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Supporting and advocating for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers.
- Working on the organisation's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander policy alongside other senior officers.
- Engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members and committees.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement initiatives that benefit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers.
**Selection Criteria**: To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- A strong commitment to trade unionism and social justice.
- A knowledge of the major issues currently facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers and their families.
- Ability to prioritise work, exercise judgement, and initiative with a high level of confidentiality and discretion, while providing a high level of member support within a politically sensitive environment.
