Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operating Theatres Team Lead to join our team at St Vincent's Health Australia. This is a critical leadership role that requires strong clinical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • To lead and manage the Operating Theatres department, ensuring smooth and efficient surgical services delivery.
  • To develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety, quality of care, and staff satisfaction.
  • To provide guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their roles effectively.
  • To work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes and hospital goals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a nurse in a theatre setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, patients, and families.
  • Knowledge of Australian health regulations and standards.
