About the Role

The Educational Leader role is a key position within our centres, responsible for inspiring and motivating a positive learning culture among children, families, and colleagues.

You will spend time floating between each room and allocated a minimum of 8 hours per week of non-contact time to complete any training and mentoring required.

To ensure your success, you will work closely with our Head of Education and Quality as well as all Educational Leaders within Thrive.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support educators to assess each child's learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework, other contemporary theories, and the Thrive Curriculum.
  • Support educators to critically reflect on each child's learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice.
  • Reflect on educational pedagogy as part of everyday practice.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents.
  • Uphold strong work values with a focus on being your best by doing your best.
Requirements
  • Either Bachelor of Teaching (or equivalent) or Diploma qualification in early childhood education.
  • NSW Working With Children Check.
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer and technology skills.
