We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Engineer to join our team. As a Building Engineer, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day running of building services at each facility across the district.
Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the up-to-date maintenance and integrity of all buildings covered within your department's responsibility. You will also be responsible for implementing efficient maintenance programmes, supervising refurbishment works, and overseeing changes to physical infrastructure.
In addition, you will manage and supervise all building-related trades, ensure prompt actioning of work orders, and maintain full compliance with work health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the up-to-date maintenance and integrity of all buildings within the Engineering Department's responsibility.
- Implement efficient maintenance programmes and oversee changes to physical infrastructure.
- Manage and supervise all building-related trades and ensure compliance with work health and safety regulations.
- Tertiary qualifications in Building / Construction or extensive industry experience with related trade qualifications/licence(s) and SafeWork White Card.
- Demonstrated project management capability for building works and contract management.
- Experience in management and operation of planned or corrective maintenance programming in large complex environments.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, regulatory compliance, safe work practices, standards, and codes of practice.
- Australian C-Class driver's license required.
