About the Role

As a Technical Account Manager at Stripe, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's largest and most complex users. Your primary responsibility will be to provide strategic support to these users, helping them to deliver more value to their customers, optimize technical operations, and accelerate their global growth with Stripe.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide a gold standard experience to assigned accounts' key stakeholders
  2. Work with the Operations team to provide current state, resources, and knowledge to enable gold standard experience across teams interacting directly with the user via support channels, external documentation, or product/feature feedback or development
  3. Foster long-term user relationships that grow loyalty to Stripe and Stripe products
  4. Work cross-functionally both internally and within the user's organization to provide and implement operational solutions on subjects not limited to fraud/disputes, declines, product adoption, and global expansion
  5. Work closely with Account Management and other user-facing teams as part of a larger effort to support users on Stripe
  6. Lead user-facing meetings both in person and through video chat
  7. Collaborate on the continued design of this support offering
  8. Create user-facing content for long-term solutions

Requirements

We are looking for someone with 6+ years of experience in enterprise-level client-facing work who possesses a strong product sense and is energized by the challenge of solving difficult user-related problems. You should also have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to lead complex integration conversations in a highly consultative and proactive manner, and familiarity with APIs and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

A strong operations savvy mindset, with an ability to identify and eliminate process friction while continuing to build scalable processes, would be beneficial. Additionally, experience practicing in small to medium-scale project management, strong organizational skills, and a self-starting mindset are highly valued.

Hybrid Work at Stripe

At Stripe, we offer a hybrid work model that allows employees to balance in-person collaboration and flexibility. Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of their time in a given month in their local office or with users.

Pay and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is A$117,600 - A$176,400. This range may change if hired in another location. Benefits and additional compensation for this role may include equity, company bonus, sales commissions/bonuses, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends.
