Market Operations SpecialistAbout the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Market Operations Specialist to join our Sydney team.

  • Execute single stock and portfolio trades across Asia Pacific Equity markets with precision.
  • Receive, confirm and understand instructions for Single Stock and Basket level client orders.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Adhere to Best Execution principles and strategies to minimize trade implementation costs.
  2. Liaise closely with Internal partners including Traders, Sales Traders and Operations teams globally.
  3. Assist the Sales Trading team with news flow, market updates and communicate directly with clients regarding intraday order status.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within Market Operations or related field.
  • A degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Electronic trading experience using Algorithms and an Execution Management System (EMS).

Desirable Skills

  • Detailed understanding of Asia Pacific Equity market structure including both trading and settlement processes.
  • Technological proficiency, some coding knowledge an advantage.
