Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Market Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing responses to compliance or technical issues, participating in the identification and management of complex technical and operational risks, and providing subject matter expertise to operational projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage response to compliance or technical issues including root cause analysis, reporting, risk assessment and implementation of fixes or mitigations.
  • Participate in identification, reporting, assessment and management of complex technical and operational issues and risks.
  • Recommend process and procedure improvement activities and projects, that reduce compliance risk, improve operational efficiency organisational capability and deliver improved market outcomes.

Requirements
  • Degree in economics, computing, commerce, engineering, science or a related discipline.
  • Strong metering and/or metering data experience in the Electricity sector, with working knowledge of MSATS and data analysis tools, including SQL, Excel, PowerBI, Databricks.
  • Experience with system integration or technical user acceptance testing from a business perspective testing complex business systems.
  • Proven qualitative and quantitative analytical skills that provide technically resourceful, evidenced based solutions to issues and execute solutions.
