This permanent opportunity is available to join our education team at a secure facility.
The successful candidate will report to the Education Manager and be responsible for facilitating training programs for students in literacy, language and numeracy skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, planning and delivering education programs;
- Evaluating student progress and providing feedback;
- Motivating and engaging students in learning;
- Supporting students to improve and formalise competencies and expand skills.
You will need exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as experience in teaching Adult Literacy and Numeracy. Motivating and engaging students in learning, and supporting them from enrolment to completion of studies, are also essential skills.
A key focus of this role is designing, planning, delivering and evaluating education programs that support students' development and reintegration into the community upon release. To achieve this, you will need to work collaboratively with colleagues to identify students' needs and develop effective strategies to meet these.
