Job Overview

As a quality assurance specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our organization's quality focused processes.

  • Support existing ISO9001 quality management systems
  • Promote and measure quality performance across the organization
  • Lead operations, technical, sales, and other functions in pursuit of quality excellence

This new role is part of a global team focused on delivering quality programs within the APAC Region.

About Our OrganizationOur Team

We are seeking a quality assurance specialist to be based at one of our operational locations. You will report directly to the Global Lead, Quality Assurance, and be responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the implementation and maintenance of our quality management system.

  • Assume the role of administrator for our enterprise quality management software
  • Promote our quality policy and measure quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization
  • Conduct investigations/internal audits and root cause analyses of quality incidents and ensure appropriate corrective/preventive actions are taken
  • Prepare reports and maintain documentation of audit results and review at periodic intervals to track progress after the audit
  • Assist in implementing new quality tools
  • Track monthly metrics generated from our quality management system and metrics collated from different QA/QC teams
Requirements
  • A degree in a science or related field
  • Good knowledge of continuous improvement and quality management systems and internal audit in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work with operations, technical, sales, and management staff
  • Willingness to travel and work in a plant environment
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, and attention to detail; must be able to manage multiple tasks with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
