Role Description:
The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all product produced meets specifications.
They will obtain new or updated specifications as required and ensure changes are incorporated into work instructions, associated procedures and databases.
The Quality Manager must also investigate and analyse quality problems and provide training and support to production staff.
Matrix managing a function of Quality based staff across the site and product lines, recruiting to meet business resourcing needs.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in leadership and team management
- In-depth knowledge of quality system procedures and product specifications and drawings
- Understanding of the manufacturing process and ability to investigate and analyse quality problems
- Knowledge and experience with Australian and International quality standards
- Sound knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and configuration/document management
