Quality Assurance Professional

Suburban Rail Loop is delivering the Tunnels South package on Suburban Rail East, on behalf of Suburban Rail Authority.

We have a broad range of roles available to build our diverse and inclusive workforce, including construction and engineering, planning and environmental management, corporate support, administration, communications and many others.

The aim of this role is to objectively assess, report on and manage quality, and to contribute to the Quality Management team to enhance design, construction and commercial outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop systems and practices to support achievement of objectives outlined in the Quality Plan and management system procedures.
  • Assess and perform audit activities for consultants, suppliers and sub-contractors to verify compliance with contract requirements.
  • Monitor integrity of quality related data recorded by site personnel in the Quality database.
  • Support Project Quality Manager in implementation of Project Quality Management Plan.
  • Review work practices and assist in development of techniques to deliver improvements and efficiency in management of work processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant policies and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management or Project Management.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in an identical role within a Precast manufacturing site.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management processes in a construction environment.
  • Skills in monitoring, reviewing, reporting and continuous improvement on performance and compliance.
