Senior Health Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health Assessor to lead and supervise our medical assessment centre health assessors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, induction, training, and development of health assessors, ensuring the provision of a highly professional and customer-focused service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervision and Leadership: Provide guidance and support to health assessors, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct medical assessments.
- Recruitment and Training: Oversee the recruitment process, develop training programs, and ensure health assessors are equipped to provide high-quality services.
- Team Management: Engage and motivate the health assessors' team to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Resource Management: Develop strategies to optimize the use of permanent, contract, and agency resources, including staff rostering.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the medical assessment centre multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Quality Service Delivery: Plan, coordinate, and deliver customer-focused quality services to meet the needs of our customers.
- Relationship Management: Oversee day-to-day engagement and relationship management with third-party providers.
- Phlebotomy Qualifications: Possess phlebotomy qualifications and experience.
- Tertiary Healthcare Qualifications: Hold tertiary healthcare professional qualifications or equivalent experience in nursing or a related field.
- Registration and Certification: Be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and hold relevant certifications.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrate previous leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of success.
- Quality Improvement: Show a commitment to quality improvement and a demonstrated capacity to support and lead quality-controlled processes.
- Immigration Health Experience: Possess experience in immigration health, with a strong understanding of the requirements and processes involved.
- Computer Skills: Be proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
