About the Role

This is a pivotal position within the Service Enablement One Water department, reporting to Johanna Gladman, Manager Service Enablement Water Treatment. As the Senior Asset Manager, you will be joining a multi-disciplinary team responsible for asset management and capital project development for all of Melbourne Water's drinking water treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine strategic maintenance requirements for electrical assets
  • Undertake condition and monitoring activities for all assets across the portfolio
  • Lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians in the management of electrical assets
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems
Requirements
  • Registered Electrical Engineer with experience in asset management
  • Familiarity with the water industry assets, such as motor control centres, transformers, and HVNLV switchboards
  • Strong leadership and technical skills, with the ability to manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
