Behavioural Specialist Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a Behavioural Specialist to join our team. This role involves working with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Assess and observe participants challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours.
  • Develop behaviour plans and assessments focusing on increasing a person's quality of life.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or ability to become registered.
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Psychology and Masters.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable).
  • A car and licence.
  • National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one before commencement.
