About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to develop professional and clinical skills while expanding leadership capabilities.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll conduct comprehensive assessments, write and implement individualised behavioural support plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with participants and their families
  • Provide direct behavioural interventions in one-on-one and group sessions
  • Develop functional assessments and create tailored support plans
  • Support colleagues and caregivers in developing clinical techniques
  • Collaborate with professionals to establish individual goals and checklists
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of reports and records
Requirements

Applicants require:

  • A relevant bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualifications in Positive Behaviour Support
  • Relevant NDIS certifications and Working with Children Check
  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or related field
  • Effective time management skills and report preparation abilities
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
