Job Title: Behavioural Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to provide individualized support to individuals with disabilities under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will work closely with participants and their support networks to develop and implement person-centred behaviour support plans that promote wellbeing and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop tailored behaviour support plans in alignment with NDIS goals and plans.
  • Prioritize high-quality support delivery in home and community settings such as schools and group homes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments using functional assessment tools in various environments.
  • Skillfully support engagement, emotional regulation, challenging behaviours, and social skills through evidence-based interventions.
Requirements:
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Be registered with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Possess a minimum of 6 months experience in behavioural support.
  • Hold or be eligible for an Australian driver's licence, Working With Children Check, and satisfactory police check.
